Baghdad / NINA /-- General Secretariat of Arab Journalists Union started in Baghdad today meetings with the presence of P.M ,al-Maliki and a number of ministers, with the participation of unions, associations and press syndicates from twenty Arab countries.

The participants in the meetings will discuss over two days, the report of the Secretary-General on the activities of the Union , the financial report and adopt its budget ,reviewing the foundation drat of the Union to proceed to some amendments and reviewing the activities of sub-committees and developments of journalism field in the Arab arenas. as well as discussing the report on press freedoms. / End
