Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqi National Football team achieved a big and important victory over its Jordanian counterpart by scoring three goals against one in the match played on Tuesday evening, Nov. 15, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, within the Asian elimination for 2014 World Cup in to be held in Brazil.
The Iraqi team presented a good performance during the second half of the game when it became in control of the match turning around its loss during the first half time when Jordanian team scored its only goal by player Hassan Abdul Fatah.
The first Iraqi goal was scored by player Akram Nash’at, while the second goal was scored by Qusay Moneer then the third goal was scored by Akram Nash’at at the 35th minute of the second half of the match.
With this win Iraq’s National Football Team leads its group with 12 points, followed by the Jordanian team, qualifying them both on behalf of the First Group consisting of China and Singapore. / End.
