Islamic University awards NINA Excellence Shield

Baghdad (NINA) –the Islamic University in Baghdad awarded the National Iraqi News Agency the shield of Excellence to appreciate its role in sustaining the role of media as well as training students of the Media department in the University.

Professor Fadhil al-Badrani of the Journalism Arts at the University said "The NINA Agency is heading the media agencies working at the field of training young journalists at the current time to help them become distinguished reporters according to modern techniques of writing."

"The University decided to award the NINA Agency the shield of Excellence to express its gratitude for the fine cooperation and support presented to the University," he added.

He stressed "We respect non alignment and professionalism of NINA which is among the best Iraqi news agencies and a main source of news for many Iraqi and Arab satellite channels and newspapers." /End/
