Journalists attacked by Electricity Minister’s Guardsmen

Hilla (NINA) – A number of journalists in Babil province were beaten and their instruments were abused by guards of Electricity Minister, Kareem Waheed, during his visit on Saturday, May 22, to Mid Euphrates Electricity Department.

Media source in Babil told NINA, “Cameraman of Hurra Channel, Biladi Channel reported, Ahad Channel reporter, Salam Channel cameraman, Baghdadiya Camiraman, Afaq Cameraman were beaten and tapes in their cameras are confiscated in addition to having their instruments destroyed by Electricity Minister’s guardsmen, during his visit to Hilla.”
