Najaf (NINA) -Najaf airport received 41 flights during the past 48 hours, carried more than 6 thousand Pilgrims who will participate in Arba'niya Pilgrimage in the province of Karbala.
The Supervisor of Najaf airport, Sadiq al-Ban, stated that "The majority of travelers are from the Arab Gulf, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran."
He added "The airline companies that ran the flights are Iraqi Airways, Gulf Air, Sham Wings, Lebanon Wings, the Kuwaiti Craven, and the UAE Jupiter."
On the other hand, a source from the Ministry of Transport stated to NINA that "The Minister of Transport agreed about night flights from/to Najaf airport." /End/
