Junior team to meat Syrian counterpart in Erbil, Damascus

Baghdad (NINA) – The Transitional Commission for running affairs of the Iraqi Football Association received an invitation from the Syrian Football Association to hold four friendly matches between the Iraqi junior Team and its Syrian counterpart.

Assistant coach of the Iraqi team Atheer Esam stated to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) “The Syrian Association suggested holding two friendly matches during next March in Erbil city while the deadline of the two other matches to be played in Damascus would be set later.”

The Transitional Commission will study the Syrian invitation during its next meeting, he concluded. /End/
